Swindon College offers several courses accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). The programmes offer flexible management training solutions to suit your individual needs. You can enrol on one day workshops, enrol on one unit at a time or enrol on a full certificate or diploma programme. You choose how you want to study!

Level 3 Diploma in First Line Management
Course Information:
A course designed for supervisors and first line managers who wish to build on and develop their existing management skills and knowledge.
Units:
- Personal development as a first line manager
- Resource planning
- Meeting stakeholder needs
- Managing and communicating information
- Developing individuals and teams
- Maintaining quality standards
- Improving team performance.

Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership
Course information:
Designed for those practising middle managers who wish to develop their core management skills and practices.
Units:
- Personal development as a manager and leader
- Information based decision making
- Performance management
- Resource management
- Meeting stakeholder and quality needs
- Conducting a management project
- Marketing planning
- Project development and control
- Human resource development.

NEW - Level 7 Award in Strategic Management and Leadership
Course information:
Designed for directors and senior managers, this qualification will build on the managerial skills and knowledge that you already have and give you a greater understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in strategic management.

Course Delivery Options for Levels 3 & 5:
Workshops
An unaccredited way to access training in any particular unit. A Certificate of Attendance is awarded at the end of each workshop, which is delivered over one day.
Level 3 - £75 per single unit
Level 5 - £75 per single unit.

Awards
A workshop followed by individual assignments completed with full tutor support. Unit accreditation is given after completion. Aloow around 4 weeks to complete.
Level 3 - £200 per single unit
Level 5 - £250 per single unit.

Certificates
Workshops followed by individual assignments completed with full tutor support. Completion of three units will result in a Certificate in the chosen course. Allow around 3 months to complete.
Level 3 - £600 for 3 units
Level 5 - £750 for 3 units.

Diplomas
Completing all units in the programme will result in the full diploma being awarded.
Level 3 - £1,100 for all 7 units
Level 5 - £1,600 for all 9 units.
