Swindon College Graduation [1]

The Graduation Ceremony in October is the highlight of our higher education year when hundreds of our students graduate after successfully completing their programmes of study.

The day is formal but enjoyable! Students are fitted with their gowns in the Jurys Inn hotel, where there is also the chance to have official portrait photography done and spend some time with family and friends.

Students then process through the town in gowns and mortar boards to the ceremony in the Holy Rood Church, Groundwell Road, Swindon.

The event is attended by the Mayor and other local dignitaries and ends with an afternoon of entertainment, food and drink with family, friends and college staff.

The 2012 Graduation ceremony will take place on Friday 12th October; further information will be available closer to the time. All students who successfully complete their higher education programme at Swindon College in 2012 will be contacted by the college and invited to attend the event.

Ticket allocation, gown & mortar board hire and portrait photography will be completed online via our Graduation web site, which will be live later in 2012.
