The New Designers 2012 graduate exhibition in London presented outstanding design work from around the UK across graphic design, illustration, animation and product design from 27th June to 7th July.
An awards scheme runs alongside the exhibition which recognises the best work in a very high calibre field and Swindon College student Eamon Martin was delighted to receive the prestigious award of runner-up from well over 1,000 art and design graduates.
Eamon has just obtained a First for his BA (Hons) in Graphic Design from the Swindon College School of Art, and was recognised for his outstanding portfolio of work.
On receiving his award, Eamon said: "I had worked as a forklift driver before I decided it was now or never to pursue my dream of graphic design and enrolled as a mature student.
"I have always been fascinated by dreams and challenged myself to push the creative process within graphic design and base an entire project on them. When you put your heart and soul into what you do, to have top people in the industry acknowledge your work means everything."
