About the Sector
There are 6,000 people currently employed in catering and hospitality in Swindon and a further 14,500 across Wiltshire, with 2.5 million across the UK. The catering and hospitality industry includes a wide range of establishments such as hotels, conference centres, restaurants, cafes, pubs, contract catering and the armed forces.

Financially, tourism is the most important sector in the South West economy. The high percentage of employees aged under 25 and the turnover rate of staff offer good opportunities for progression.

There is an increasing need for young people to enter the sector with managerial and supervisory, commercial and business skills gained through qualifications. 

We offer you:
